A teenager who breached a community order for possessing cannabis with intent to supply has been given a suspended custodial sentence.
Amir Khan, 19, of Lower Rushton Road, Thornbury, Bradford, appeared at Bradford Crown Court yesterday for breach of the order, which was imposed after he was found in possession of 73 grammes of cannabis, divided into 13 wraps, in Leeds Road, Thornbury.
He admitted breaching the order three times by failing to attend with probation and twice failing to carry out unpaid work.
Judge Colin Burn gave Khan a six-month custodial sentence suspended for 18 months, with 160 hours’ unpaid work and a 30-day medium level activity. He ordered him to pay £100 costs.
