A BRADFORD College tutor has been telling audiences at a national conference how digital technology is being used in education.
Jackie Sharp, hairdressing lecturer and teaching and learning development coach at the college, was a guest speaker at the two day Digifest in Birmingham.
She spoke to audiences about the free online hairdressing and barbering training the college developed with e-learning provider Virtual College and Jisc.
It includes a series of videos – filmed at Bradford College’s own hair salon and using past and present students and staff - step-by-step guides and assessments.
Mrs Sharp spoke about how the interactive resources are used by staff and learners at the event at the International Convention Centre.
She said: “I was asked to go along and give a rundown on how we use the service and what feedback we have received from learners and I was delighted to do that.”
