DRIVERS who use the motorway network to get into Bradford are being warned of disruption due to upcoming roadworks.
The Highways Agency has announced that surfacing works are to be carried out on the northbound M606 between junction 1 at Chain Bar and junction 3 at Staygate.
Highways chiefs will impose a full closure of the northbound M606 for five nights from Monday.
On each night, the closure of the carriageway will come into force at 8pm and will not reopen until 6am the following morning.
The Agency said a clearly signed diversion route would be in place throughout the works.
Meanwhile, Bradford motorists travelling further afield are warned of disruption on the M62 between junction 30 at Castleford and junction 32 at Castleford due to electrical work.
This will mean narrow lanes, a 50mph speed restriction, and the hard shoulder closure in both directions until early 2015.
