A teenager whose growing pain was actually found to be bone cancer has been given the all-clear by doctors.
The good news means Tong High School pupil Sarah Bullock, 14, can now enjoy planning her 15th birthday party in June and raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support and Candelighters who helped her.
Sarah, of Pawson Street, Laisterdyke, Bradford, had a year of chemotherapy and surgery to remove the cancerous bone and put in a titanium replacement.
Anyone interested in helping with Sarah’s fundraising party on Saturday, June 21, at Little Horton Unity Club in Bradford, should e-mail donna_taylor_21@outlook.com or to make a donation go to justgiving.com/sarahbullock-mcm or justgiving.com/sarahbullock-cl.
