Pizza Hut has confirmed it is in discussions about the future of one its Bradford restaurants after planning applications for the building were submitted on behalf of Paddy Power.

The bookmakers is named in two planning applications which have been submitted to Bradford Council for the Dockworth Grove site.

The firm wants to install a satellite dish, television aerials and equipment for an air conditioning unit at a “discreet” location on the exterior of the building.

Documents submitted to the Council say the equipment would not be seen from most angles and also say a flue would be removed as part of changes, which was regarded as an improvement. A further application deals with changing the shop frontage.

The restaurant chain said: “We are still in discussions regarding the future plans for our Duckworth Grove outlet. Whilst this is ongoing we are unable to comment further.”
