Passengers had to be evacuated from a First bus between Wilsden and Sandy Lane earlier today after it caught fire.

The driver of the 616 service radioed for help and firefighters from Shipley attended to make it safe.

It happened at 7.35am - no-one was hurt.

The blaze was in the engine compartment area, said an eye-witness.
