A teenager has reached the regional finals of a national competition.

Kenzie Milner, 13, of Pudsey, will sing at Teenstar on April 6 in Sheffield, in a bid to win a place at the final at the London O2 Arena.

TeenStar is a singing competition for the UK’s best young singers or singer/songwriters.

It is organised by Future Music, and previous winners include Luke Friend from Bradford who came third in X Factor last year.

Chris Grayston, events co-ordinator for TeenStar, said: “We are looking to find an act that has something unique to offer.”
