Wounded Yorkshire servicemen who made it to the South Pole with Prince Harry will be honoured at a gala dinner next month.
Military charity Walking with the Wounded is celebrating the triumph of the South Pole Teams who will feature in a two TV documentaries this month that detail their epic journey with the Prince.
The charity is holding a dinner at Bertie’s Banqueting Hall, Elland on Saturday, April 26, to raise funds to support injured servicemen and women.
Members of the South Pole team will be present, including from the Yorkshire Regiment Ibrar Ali, MC, as well Dan Majid who took part in its Everest challenge. The evening includes a three-course meal, raffle, auction and entertainment from 2013 X Factor finalists.
