Guiseley were unable to give themselves a league boost ahead of tonight's West Riding County Cup final against Brighouse Town.

The Vixens went two up in their National League Northern Premier clash at Huddersfield but were ultimately sunk 5-2 by their hosts.

Monika Stube and Charlotte Gill gave the visitors an advantage before Lucy Sowerby's brace made it all square at half-time and Town ran away with it after the break.

Now Guiseley turn their attentions to defending their county cup crown at Fleet Lane, Woodlesford tonight, having reached the final by scoring 29 goals and conceding none.

Bradford (Park Avenue) completed their West Riding Premier Division games with a 3-1 defeat at Wetherby Athletic in an end-to-end Premier Division clash.

After a tight 40 minutes, Wetherby failed to clear their lines and Kirsty Russell pounced to give Bradford the lead.

Soon after the break, a Lorna Wilkinson brace put Wetherby in front, through a penalty and a scrambled goal. There were chances aplenty for Bradford, who hoped to snatch a point.

However, near the end another defensive error put the game beyond Avenue's reach as Holly Fowler made it 3-1.

Hepworth United need only a point in tomorrow night's game at second-placed Yorkshire Amateur to claim the title.

But the Ammers are not giving up without a fight after they saw off Tingley 4-0.

Brayton Belles secured Premier Division status by winning 6-0 at Middleton.

In the Supplementary Cup, Phoenix finished top of Group A with a 5-2 victory at Thackley Reserves. On target were Megan Medley (2), Sanah Razaq, Aksa Khanum and skipper Ikra Ali.

Ossett United Reserves top Group B, but Group C has yet to be decided after Silsden's Elly Field's first-half strike was cancelled out at Republica in a 1-1 draw.
