Bradford side Athletico, who have changed their name to Route One Rovers Women, were involved in the Portugal Summer Football Cup last weekend and won it.
The Lioness Unity Cup was held on Sunday 2 June at Manningham Sports Centre on Carlisle Road, and it was fantastic to have seven teams from across the County represented, including local sides Athletico, and eventual winners Bradford (Park Avenue).
Local women’s football has completed its season with the traditional Bank Holiday double-bill of the WRCWFL Shield and Cup Finals at County FA Headquarters in Woodlesford.
