A COUNCIL-led investigation into fly-tipping on a quiet cul-de-sac in Bradford is still underway.

Rubbish was dumped in broad daylight by two people driving a white van on Princeville Road.

It was caught on CCTV by nearby cameras on two acres of land, where a new house is due to be built.

Bradford Council said the case remains under investigation and was unable to provide any details at this time.

But the Council has urged householders to make sure they’re doing their part and paying registered waste carriers.

A Bradford Council spokesperson told the T&A: “This case is still under investigation so we still can’t comment on it.

"But householders have a duty of care to check that people removing their waste are registered waste carriers.

"They can check this by visiting the Environment Agency public registers - https://environment.data.gov.uk/public-register/view/search-waste-carriers-brokers
