THE owner of a Bradford dealership has been wished well as he enters retirement following almost 40 years in the motor trade.
Yesterday, Clive Brook announced that he had sold his two dealerships, on Canal Road and in Huddersfield, to family-run company Ray Chapman Motors.
He said there will be no initial changes in the management and policies of the company which was created back in 2007.
Telegraph & Argus readers were keen to wish Mr Brook well in retirement.
Adrian Roberts said: "He was a gent when I bought a car from them and looked after me well during the ownership of the car.
"Happy retirement to a dealer owner who interacted with customers, which is quite rare."
"Good luck Clive enjoy your retirement, a gentleman of the motor trade," said David Carlisle.
Dean Wood added: "I have been in the motor trade for 38 years and have known Clive most of that time. All the best Clive enjoy your retirement."
"Congratulations on your retirement, enjoy and rest up," added Balbir Kaur.
Philip Hale said: "We carried out some surveying work for these and met Clive Brook. He was a really nice chap. Enjoy retirement."
