A BRADFORD motor dealership of 15 years has been sold after its owner announced he is retiring.
Clive Brook Volvo, who has two dealerships on Canal Road and in Huddersfield, was bought out by family-run company Ray Chapman Motors.
Clive Brook is retiring from the motor trade after almost 40 years.
He created the Clive Brook brand back in 2007.
A statement on the business's Facebook page said: "Clive Brook Volvo announces the sale of its two dealerships to family-run company Ray Chapman Motors from today (February 1).
"After nearly 40 years of working and 15 years of building and developing the Clive Brook brand, the time has now come for me to retire and to pass on our much-loved business, team members and loyal customers, into the capable and enthusiastic hands of the Chapman family.
"Much has changed in the motor trade over the years, and I am very excited for Clive Brook Ltd to benefit from the scale and resources of being part of a successful and dynamic, but most importantly, family retailer group.
"I wish Duncan, the Chapman family, and the wider Ray Chapman team every success in the future.
"There will be no initial changes in the management and policies of the company.
"If you have a new or used Volvo on order with ourselves, service contracts nothing will change and your sales consultant will be in touch with you to reassure you.
"Thank you very much to all our valued staff, customers, suppliers, family and friends both past and present for being part of the Clive Brook Volvo journey."
