James Norton has returned for series three - as Catherine’s nemesis, the murderer and sex-offender Tommy Lee Royce.

In this series, Catherine discovers the remains of a gangland murder victim in a drained reservoir which sparks a chain of events that unwittingly leads her straight back to Royce.

Film crews descended on Thornton last year, with Siobhan Finneran spotted filming scenes.
