Luke Menzies, otherwise known as World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) superstar Ridge Holland, won his contest at WWE’s Extreme Rules event on October 8.

The Liversedge-born star was part of the Brawling Brutes squad as they defeated Imperium in a six-man tag team battle, billed as a ‘Good Old Fashioned Donnybrook Match’.

The Brawling Brutes consists of Ridge, Sheamus and Butch, while Imperium features WWE Intercontinental champion Gunther and his team-mates Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci.

Menzies, as Ridge, posted on his Instagram a picture of his winning team and wrote: “Banger after banger after banger after banger.”

He appeared in this year’s Royal Rumble last January and won a tag team contest at WrestleMania in April.
