A BRADFORD district-born WWE wrestler is gearing up for an ‘extreme fight night’ match at a major show.
Luke Menzies, otherwise known as World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) superstar Ridge Holland, will be competing in the ring at WWE’s Extreme Rules event next Saturday, October 8.
The Liversedge-born star will be battling in a six-man tag team contest when his Brawling Brutes squad take on Imperium.

The Brawling Brutes consists of Ridge, Sheamus and Butch, while Imperium features WWE Intercontinental champion Gunther and his team-mates Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci.
The two teams have been feuding on the WWE’s Friday Night Smackdown TV show over recent weeks and it is set to culminate in what the organisation is billing as a good old-fashioned donnybrook match.
Ridge and his partner Butch battled for the WWE tag team titles on Smackdown from September 23, but fell just short against champions, The Usos.
But not before former Bradford Bulls Academy player Menzies showed his strength when he picked up both of his opponents at the same time in an amazing move.
Menzies is one of the rising stars of the WWE, appearing on their weekly Friday Night Smackdown TV show since October last year.
