TWO celebrities got up to all sorts in a recent trip around Bradford for a primetime Channel 4 programme.

Comedian Rosie Jones and Friday Night Dinner star Tom Rosenthal visited the city for the latest episode of Joanna Lumley-narrated Trip Hazard: My Great British Adventure.

The pair experienced Bradford's culture by eating Yorkshire's largest naan bread, ice skating, boat racing and rapping.

Jones and Rosenthal participated in an array of activities across the district to gain material for their episode-ending rap battle - inspired by Bradford's 'upcoming scene' led by the likes of Bad Boy Chiller Crew and Musumbu.

Omar's on Great Horton Road was the restaurant where the famous naan bread challenge took place.

Only two people have ever earned the free trip to Barcelona which comes with conquering the 3kg item, containing 11,000 calories.

Despite Jones, who incorporates her cerebral palsy into her comedic style, trying to hide the naan down her top at one point, they both failed.

A full Rosenthal and Jones left with tubs filled with the remaining naan as they travelled to ‘Youth Cutz’, a barber’s shop set up in Mary Magdalene Church.

Jones was tasked to cut Rosenthal's hair with a set of clippers. The actor managed to escape unscathed, but the same could not be said for a customer who left with a block of his hair missing thanks to Jones' shaver skills.

A trip to Bradford Modified Club was next on the agenda. Jones revved a buggy before appearing in her own stylish vehicle, a mobility scooter.

The pair put on some display at the Bradford Ice Rink. Rosenthal comically compared his recovering knee to Jones' condition before performing the 'routine' in a wheelchair.

Earlier in the episode, the pair visited Tapestry Arts and local rappers Badee Harz and Musumba give them advice.

Ahead of the battle later on at The Underground, Rosenthal adds: "Being cruel on TV about someone who is a lesbian with cerebral palsy as a straight white able-bodied male, it is not the look you want to go for in 2022."

As the pair trade funny and crude lyrical insults in the heat of battle, Jonny Bad Man ends by saying: "Every day in Bradford has been mad good.

"The field of dreams is Old Trafford, na f**k the field of dreams is Bradford."

The episode is currently available on All 4 and premiered on screens across the country last night at 10pm.
