TAPESTRY ARTS has opened and held its first events, pioneering a mix of comedy, live music and jamming.
Owner Jason Brooks says the venue on Factory Street in Dudley Hill, Bradford, had had a good start and begun getting its name out.
He said comedy and 60s nights had attracted good audiences as did a jam evening.
The venue, whose full name is Tapestry - Arts, Performance, Eats, Studios, is aiming to cater for all tastes of music and all types of arts.
Among the local names lined up in the programme are Tankus The Henge with support from CPSD and Flash Cassette on November 16, El Loco, "probably one of Bradford’s longest established bands" on November 30 and Nashville Heart who play modern country on December 12.
The complex has a 275-capacity venue, six rehearsal/production rooms and two recording studios.
Mr Brooks, a musician and record producer, said the venue's cafe is a couple of weeks away from opening.
