Bradford Council has shared the Bank Holiday closures and opening times for tips and local recycling centres across the district.

It is free of charge to dispose of waste and recycling at a Bradford tip - but you'll need to display your residents permit.

The waste recycling centres at Bowling Back Lane and Royd Ings Avenue will remain open this August Bank Holiday, but all other tips will be closed.

Here’s everything you need to know.

Bradford tip opening times this Bank Holiday

Bowling Back Lane waste recycling centre will be open from 8am to 4pm on Monday, August 29 and Tuesday, August 30.

The Royd Ings Avenue tip in Keighley, will be open from 8am to 4pm on Monday, August 29 and Tuesday, August 30.

The following household waste and recycling centres will be closed: Midland Road, Ford Hill, Sugden End, Dowley Gap, Golden Butts and Dealburn Road.
