BRADFORD is set to bask in temperatures of up to 28C today as the heatwave continues.

Here’s our hour-by-hour forecast so you don’t have to guess what the weather will do next.

There will be some light winds forecast today, with Bradford temperatures peaking at 28C between 3pm and 7pm.

Chris Roberts, of Bradford & Bingley Weatherline, who regularly brings us his regular weekly weather forecast, has also provided a look at today’s temperatures.

He said: "Another warmer and dry day again with extensive sunshine, but there is potential for some high cloud this afternoon, but not everywhere. Temperatures from 16 to 27/28C in a very light SW breeze...so feeling hot."

The Met Office has revealed that today will be largely sunny with high UV levels.

  • 8pm – 26C, feels like 25C
  • 9pm – 24C, feels like 24C.
  • 10pm – 23C, feels like 23C.
  • 11pm – 22C, feels like 22C.

It’s best to avoid sun exposure between 11am and 3pm but if you have no choice, remember to wear a sunscreen, shades and a hat to avoid a sunburn.

At the moment, temperatures are looking similar in Bradford for tomorrow’s forecast, with a high of 29C expected.
