Emergency services have responded to a crash on the M62 near Brighouse.

The incident took place on junction 25 of the M62 eastbound just after 10am.

The damage-only collision involved a car and an LGV. 

Lane one of two along this section of the M62 has now reopened.

In an earlier statement, Highways England said: "It’s a two-vehicle RTC involving a car and an LGV that has closed lane one of the eastbound carriageway.

"Recovery is underway and we expect to reopen the lane shortly."

The AA said: "Slow traffic and lane closed on entry ramp due to crash on M62 Eastbound at J25 A644 Wakefield Road (Brighouse)."
