PLANS to open a new computer gaming centre above a Bradford nightclub have been approved.
The first floor of the Warehouse nightclub on Sackville Street will now become a centre where people can pay to hire a booth complete with “sensory chairs” and large screens and play the latest video games.
The application, by S Iqbal, also includes a cafe for customers.
The first floor had previously been used as office space.
Pac-Man and Street Fighter II among games at Flashback Arcade
Approving the plans this week, officers said: “The application proposes to bring a new leisure use into this city centre location which will add to the vitality and viability of the city centre.”
The business is the latest gaming centre plan for the city.
Earlier this month Flashback Arcade, a retro video game centre, opened in the former T&A loading bay building.
And a virtual reality centre, VR City, is soon to open in the former Boyes store on North Parade.
