A PROPOSED housing development in Baildon will go before a planning committee on Thursday.
Bradford Council's Regulatory and Appeals will discuss an application to build five homes on West Lane on a strip of land between the edge of the residential development on the former West Lane reservoir and the boundary of the Green Belt.
Seven people living near the site have objected to the plans, raising concerns over traffic, the size of the homes and the impact new houses would have on local services.
Housing plan for Baildon site is re-submitted
Members will be told that plans for housing on the site have already been approved in the past, although that scheme was for just three houses.
A report to the committee suggests members approve the application.
It adds: "The proposed development of five houses is considered to relate satisfactorily with the existing street scene and is not considered to result in any significant loss of residential amenity."
The committee is meeting virtually on Thursday.
