LATEST NEWS: NO new coronavirus direct deaths reported at ANY hospital in Yorkshire and the Humber

THERE have been no further coronavirus-related deaths recorded at hospitals in the Bradford district, according to NHS England.

It means the total death toll at hospitals in the district now stands at 352.

Of those deaths, 241 have been reported by Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, 109 by Airedale NHS Foundation Trust and two by Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust.

The figures are updated at 2pm each day and include confirmed death cases reported at 4pm the previous day.

In the latest data for the whole of England, the NHS recorded four deaths in total.

Two deaths were recorded at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals Trust while the remaining patients sadly died at Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust in Greater Manchester.

"Confirmation of COVID-19 diagnosis, death notification, death certificates and reporting in central figures can take up to several days and the hospitals providing the data are under significant operational pressure," NHS England says.

"This means that the totals reported at 4pm on each day may not include all deaths that occurred on that day or on recent prior days."
