BRADFORD has marked St George's Day today - but the Coronavirus lockdown meant it was a much more muted occasion than normal.

Normally the feast day of England's patron saint is marked by events such as church services, pub celebrations and a city centre parade by Bradford Scouts that sees hundreds of people line the streets.

However, lockdown restrictions have meant events like this cannot take place.

But like other years, Bradford Council raised St George's Flag in Centenary Square.
