A TAXI company is due to move its offices into a community centre.
Rideaway is currently based at the Fairfax Social Club in Menston. That site is soon to undergo a major re-development.
A planning application has been submitted to Bradford Council to re-locate the taxi offices into a store building at the Kirklands Community Centre on Main Street.
The planning application by Tariq Hussain said the company has built up an "excellent service and rapport with the community" and that there would be minimum alterations to the building.
Redevelopment of "dated" Menston social club site approved
It says an electronic app system would be used by the drivers, and that they would not need to congregate on the Kirklands site.
A decision on the application is expected in June.
The plans to re-develop the Fairfax Club site were approved last month. Park Lane Homes had submitted the plans to demolish the "dated" clubhouse and build a new clubhouse and three homes in its place.
