A BOY has been arrested after a 15-year-old was stabbed at a Bradford school.

West Yorkshire Police were called to Beckfoot Thornton School, formerly Thornton Grammar School, at 11.35am today to a report of a stabbing.

The teenage boy suffered an injury to his shoulder and was taken to hospital.

A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said: "Emergency services attended and found a 15-year-old male with an injury to his shoulder.

“He was taken to hospital for further treatment although his injury is not believed to be life threatening.

“A knife has been recovered and a male of similar age has been arrested.

“Enquiries are continuing.”
