POLICE have been called to Beckfoot Thornton School today and are believed to be responding to 'reports of a stabbing'.

Officers can be seen outside the building and the Telegraph & Argus understands some pupils have been taken out of classes.
A cordon can be seen in place around the Leaventhorpe Lane school.
A dog walker, who did not wish to be named, told the T&A he had seen about four police vehicles at the scene and had been told that a Year 11 boy had been stabbed by a fellow pupil at around 11.30am today.
Parents can bee seen arriving at the school and talking to each other. One said they had been called by their daughter and asked to pick them up.
