'Huge' armed police operation in Holme Wood
LATEST: Here's why armed police were in Holme Wood
ARMED police took part in an operation in Holme Wood on Wednesday evening.
Multiple reports claim a number of armed officers could be seen in the area around Holme Lane and Fieldside Close.
The police helicopter and West Yorkshire Police's Incident Response Unit were also said to be at the scene.
One resident said: "Huge police operation in Holme Lane. Armed police and helicopter. Incident response unit been here for a few hours and police with big guns walking around."
An Inspector confirmed an operation had taken place, but said he could not disclose any information about the incident "due to the nature of what is going on."
