Taken from the Telegraph & Argus of July 18, 1981...The Novotel in Bradford was putting an English translation of the Koran in every room to add to the bibles that were already there. The 138 Korans were presented by the Ahmadiyya Youth association which hoped to present Korans in other hotels too.

Taken from the Telegraph & Argus of July 18, 1956...A man from Bradford held a proud record after having worked with the same firm for 65 years. Mr John Butterworth of Abingdon Road, Toller Lane, worked for John Priestman and Co. from the age of ten. He only worked away during the war in 1914.
