Police in Bradford are alarmed by the number of complaints from people who have suffered at the hands of youngsters armed with air weapons. In Manningham police division there is on average one complaint recorded every three weeks and last year there were nearly 20 incidents.

More than 2,000 Scouts, Cubs and Senior Scouts marched past the Lord Mayor of Bradford, Alderman David Black, at a St George's Day Parade at Valley Parade football ground yesterday. Earlier a service at the ground was conducted by the Reverend John Kemp, minister of the Girlington Congregational Church.
