The battle to stop the closure of Shipley hospital will be taken right to the top. At a meeting last night, the Council suggested throwing its weight behind the protests over the proposed closure. Nurses in groups and individuals and doctors from Baildon and Shipley have voiced their anger at the prospect of losing the hospital.
