25 years ago: Prostitutes in Bradford facing a massive police crackdown on vice pledged to go to jail rather than pay £3,500 in accumulated fines.
50 years ago: A family member bored a peep-hole in a cupboard door and lay in wait for a suspected burglar after a serious of break-ins at a Bradford house in between a father leaving for work and his family waking up. A 13-year-old boy was caught sneaking in and quietly asking: "Is anyone in?", a court heard.
