25 years ago: Ten senior female nurses, who had claimed they were victims of discrimination after receiving a pay cut, announced they were abandoning their legal fight against Bradford’s health bosses.
50 years ago: Six appliances and 25 firefighters attended a blaze at Associated Weavers Ltd in Toftshaw Lane, Bradford, after an electrical fault led to bales of yarn being set alight.
