From the Telegraph & Argus of November 22, 1981...Keighley MP Bob Cryer is to press for legislation stopping nuclear materials being carried through areas claimed to be nuclear free. Mr Cryer's action comes after a train believed to have been carrying a nuclear warhead travelled through the Aire Valley last week.

From the Telegraph & Argus of November 22, 1956...Earlier this year Bradford City Angling Association lost three miles of fishing in the Leeds to Liverpool canal in Gargrave because of the careless behaviour of some anglers. At their annual meeting at the Castle Hotel in Bradford they determined that no further fishing rights should be lost in a similar manner.
