A motorcycle club, kick-started again in 2000 after a lapse of ten years, is planning its 45th anniversary next year.
Members of Denholme and District Motorcycle Club are holding a get-together and reunion at the Bronte Hotel, Cross Roads, near Keighley, on Saturday, November 14, from 7.30pm.
Member Stuart Feeney said: “It’s an opportunity for old friends to meet and chat about their biking experiences with the club and test the ground for the anniversary celebration.
“We had a small meeting last year which was very successful. One former member, Craig Woodhead, flew in from Spain to attend.”
The club was founded in 1965 at the Black Bull, Denholme, and later moved to other pubs. It was hugely successful in the 1970s and 1980s.
