Otley Athletics Club's Ian Fisher won last year's Round Hill Fell Race in 54min 12sec
Off-road runners are reminded that Otley Athletic Club’s annual Round Hill Fell Race takes place on Sunday, August 7.
The nine-mile event involves around 1,200 feet of climbing from Timble village, a few miles to the north of Otley, in a loop across Denton Moor.
Last year around 100 runners took part with the winner, Otley AC’s Ian Fisher completing the course in 54min 12sec, almost two minutes ahead of second-placed Gareth Hird from Wharfedale Harriers.
Fastest lady was Renee Saxton (Otley) who finished 41st overall in 68min 33sec.
Entry is on the day only and costs £3.
