PEOPLE have been urged to put on their trainers, get into training and sign up for this year’s Bradford City Runs.
The event will take place on a course around the city centre (pictured) on Sunday, October 29, from 9.15am.
It will include a half-marathon, 10k, 5k and a children’s race for the under 11s.
The course will start and finish in City Park and go around Bradford College and the University of Bradford, down Morley Street, Princes Way and around The Broadway shopping centre and a number of streets in Little Germany.
An estimated 1,100 people took part in last year’s event.
Proceeds from the event will go to the Plastic Surgery and Burns Research Unit (PSBRU), based at the University of Bradford.
