DEAN Harrison, who won all seven of his races in the Cock o' the North meeting at Scarborough's Oliver's Mount, was back on the podium at the International Southern 100 Road Races in the Isle of Man.

The Bradford man, whose 1000cc Kawasaki was giving him problems during the meeting on the 4.25-mile Billown Circuit, twice edged out Michael Dunlop.

Harrison won the S&S Motors 600cc race, averaging 109.46mph over the seven laps, with a best lap time of 2min 17.496sec at an average speed of 111.276mph.

Split seconds separated Harrison and Dunlop, and that was again the case in the Manx Solo Championship Race, the meeting's finale.

Harrison's first triumph in the race came at an average speed of 113.877mph, but he averaged 115.500mph during his best lap time of 2min 12sec on the ninth and final lap.

Dean's dad Conrad and Andrew Winkle took third place in the Manx Gas Sidecar Race on their 600cc Bella Honda, averaging 95.468mph for the five laps.

Their time was 13min 21sec but their best lap was the second, which they completed in 2min 38.963sec at an average speed 96:249 mph.
