RIDERS from East Bradford Cycling Club returned from the North of England Cyclo-Cross Championships in South Shields with a fistful of medals.
Jacob Harrison, who had already posted seven wins, a second and two thirds this season, made it eight victories at under-eights level.
Florence Greenhalgh also stood on top of the podium, taking her tally for 2017-18 to five wins and three seconds.
Greenhalgh's sister Lilly narrowly missed silver after a tape entanglement but she did get a second bronze to add to her four wins in the junior category.
There were also a crop of top-ten placings, with Thomas Hepton fighting his way from last after a mechanical problem to finish tenth at under-12 level, making it eight for the season.
Lucas Elwell was 15th at under-12s, while brother Spike was 21st at under-14, with newcomer Ben Ramsden finishing fourth to add to his two third places from earlier in the campaign.
Callum's Watson's ninth was his eighth top-ten finish of 2017-18.
Rachel Kendrick was fourth in the women's over-50 veterans, so she was narrowly unable to add to her three podium places, while John Elwell was 12th among the over-50 men.
Former club members Euan Cameron and Daniel Hepton finished third and seventh in the juniors and under-14s respectively.
Senior club coach Mandy Parker, this year's Yorkshire Unsung Hero award winner, was delighted and said: "Our results are a reward for the hard work our youngsters have been putting in, especially in our (frequently cold) Friday night cyclo-cross training sessions at the Richard Dunn cycling facility.
"This season, with 19 wins, 13 seconds, 12 thirds and 79 other top-ten finishes from the under-eights to the juniors, East Bradford Cycling Club is becoming a force to be reckoned with."
