Greengates Quest Taekwondo member Jason Mann has extended his record to four wins in as many matches.

The nine-year-old, whose speciality is his dynamic kicking, fought twice at the recent Doncaster Dome 121 Competition.

Jason has been doing the sport for nearly a year and is improving week by week, showing skill, confidence, strength and determination.

His first fight at the Dome was against an opponent he has already beaten, and two excellent kicks to the head by Jason gained him six points, which proved to be the only scores of the match.

The youngster then asked if he could fight again later on in the day and, after approaching Greengates Quest Taekwondo's chief instructor, 7th Dan Master Mike McKenzie, he gave the go-ahead and advised Jason to approach the area where the fights were matched up.

The organisers took his details again and he was matched up against a second opponent, taking the fight to him with confidence on the way to a 7-2 triumph.

Jason, who is still only a beginner and retains his cheeky persona, may now have the opportunity to compete in the UTF London Open International - a very big event and a massive achievement - on Sunday, July 10.
