Bradford’s junior national champion Harry Mattick, who competes in the men’s event, is among a party of six Great Britain skaters who have been chosen for a prestigious event in South Korea.
They will be competing in the week-long International Skating Union’s World Junior Figure Skating Championships, which start in Gangneung on February 28.
iceSheffield’s British champion Katie Powell, in the junior ladies, Deeside’s Charlotte Aiken and Josh Whidborne (junior dance) and Essex’s Catherine Clement and James Hunt (pairs) make up the rest of the British team.
The Korean event comes hot on the heels of the European Championships.
