DEVON Petersen is gearing up for a career-best fourth round clash tomorrow in the William Hill World Darts Championship.

The 32-year-old, originally from Cape Town, South Africa but now lives in Bradford, will face Nathan Aspinall in tomorrow's afternoon session in the best of seven sets clash.

Petersen advanced following a 4-2 win over Steve West in the third round at the prestigious tournament, held at Alexandra Palace in London.

His victory over West saw the match nicely poised at two legs apiece before Petersen, nicknamed the African Warrior, shone through.

Petersen had earlier stamped his authority on the match with a 139 checkout to make it 1-1.
