JOE Cullen’s world darts championship is over for another year after an Adrian Lewis whirlwind blew him away 4-0 tonight.
The Wyke pro had produced his best televised performance in the opening round to beat highly-rated Corey Cadby – his first win at the Alexandra Palace in seven attempts.
But he was no match for two-times champion Lewis, who was in relentless scoring form.
Apart from a 103 check-out against the throw in the final set, Cullen never hit the heights of Monday’s display as fifth seed Lewis raced to victory.
