A hat-trick from Aaron Dad helped Bradford Bulldogs beat Lancashire Raptors 6-4 in Blackburn.
Josh Stockton, Andy Brown and Matt Viney also chipped in with goals.
Solihull were the vistors for Sunday’s final game of the season.
Things started well when Stockton opened the scoring on 11 minutes.
The Bulldogs went further ahead four minutes later when Viney scored a great goal on the powerplay.
Things got heated towards the end of the period when Dave Willams got thrown out of the match for fighting.
The start of the second period saw Solihull up there game but they found netminder Jonny Brown in great form as he produced some top-class saves to deny the visitors.
He was finally beaten when Rich Slater fired a shot from the blueline into the top corner.
The thid period was an end- to-end affair, with both teams having good chances to score, and it was the Bulldogs who went 3-1 ahead through Viney to give them a four-point final weekend to end the season on a high.
