Below-strength Bradford Bulldogs slumped to a 9-0 defeat as leaders Telford Titans justified their position at the top of the English National League North table with a powerful display.
The Bulldogs made the long trip south with only 11 players and things got off to bad start when Telford opened up a 3-0 lead inside the first six minutes.
To Bradford’s credit they held their own for the rest of the period to go in 3-0 down but the Titans came out firing for the second period and four quick goals made the score 7-0.
The hosts added two further goals in the third period to make it nine without reply, although the score did not fully reflect the short-benched Bulldogs’ gutsy performance.
Bradford return to home ice on Sunday when they take on Grimsby Redwings. Face-off is 5.15pm, with admission £5 for adults and under-16s free with a paying adult.
