Bradford Bulldogs were edged out 5-4 by Manchester Phoenix in an entertaining friendly.
Michael Fletcher, Steve Butler, Josh Stockton and Andy Brown scored the Bulldogs goals in an end-to-end encounter watched by around 200 fans.
The Bulls also held their presentation evening, with goaltender Jonny Brown picking up two awards. Other winners were Dave Williams, Dean Boothroyd and Aaron Dad.
