The Bradford Bulldogs ice hockey side lost 17-0 at Sheffield after a poor performance before losing 9-5 at home to the Billingham Bombers in their final game of the season.
The Bulldogs took an early lead against the Bombers through Matt Viney on the powerplay only for Billingham to reply with two goals in a minute.
Three quick goals at the start of the second period saw the visitors extend their lead to 5-1 before Bulldogs' Sean Alderson scored two goals in two minutes.
Then Aaron Dad scored a cracker from the blue line and Alderson notched his hat-trick to make it 5-5.
But the Bombers scored in the final minutes of the second period and three late goals complete a 9-5 victory, which was harsh on the hosts.
Man of the match was Jonny Brown, who once again produced some fine saves.
The Bulldogs finished their season with two wins and and 20 defeats.
Meanwhile, Bulldogs under-16s continued their surge for the play-offs with a fine 8-3 win over Sheffield. The under-14s also enjoyed a 21-0 victory over Sutton, which still leaves them with a play-off chance.
