WHILE Bradford Dragons were busy securing sixth place in Division One of the English Basketball League, they made sure to celebrate the career of one of the most distinguished players ever to grace the court in Britain.
Jason Swaine joined Bradford in 2014 and saw out the remainder of his playing days at Dragons' Den. He announced his retirement from the sport earlier in the season after an extraordinary 30 year career.
Swaine won every possible trophy in the domestic game at the height of his career and he also made multiple appearances for the national team.
However, one of Jason’s most treasured moments in the sport has been sharing the Dragons’ court with his son Eisley, who has impressed Bradford fans with some fine performances this season.
They remain the only father and son combination to play for the same team at the same time in the history of the National Basketball League.
