Two victories in the final three events enabled Dave Chapman and David Taylor to win the Skipton Trophy Navigational Championship for the second year running.
Neil Raven and Nigel Bromley came home first in the last round of the Ilkley & District Motor Club-organised competition but had to settle for second place overall, missing out on the title by just five points.
Three second places in the last three events saw the father and son team of Nick and Andrew Pullan finish third, with Andrew winning the under-23 category.
Keeping it in the family, Hazel Pullan took the ladies’ award, while Otley residents Gill Myers and Dave West took the novice championship prize.
The opening round of the 2012 championship takes place on January 11, starting and finishing at the Square and Compass in North Rigton. For more details go to www.ilkleymotorclub.org.uk.
